Hence why, I imagine part of why Colin took forever to know his feelings is because he was low-key being dadthreatened by Anthony 😂 and all throughout this Benedict is just like ‘The fuck you doing Ant? We want her to be an official legal Bridgerton!?’
The best part is Anthony not even realizing he’s doing it until the day Colin announced he was going to marry her. Then Anthony is just like “ Excuse me!? Did you ask me for permission!? That is my tiny unofficial daughter who can do way better than you!!” And Benedict is just like “Goddamnit Ant!! We are so close to keeping her with us forever LEGALLY!!”
Cue Eloise 100% not knowing why Anthony is acting like a dad for Pen but supporting it entirely and offering to get him the shotgun 😂🤣😂🤣

a little headcanon,
* maya uses makeup to look like a mini clon of her mother, to look more “goddess like”, cause naturally, her skin is human like (like in canon)
* I think zatz helmet, apart from protection and looking cool , is designed like that to make him look more “god like”, to make others “fear” and “respect” him more
*in this au they are also dating (like in canon)
*only lady micte and zatz had seen maya without her make up
